I pulled two copies (one of each cover.) When I got to the store, a guy (close to my age, which always makes me feel good...) says, "Final Crisis sold out?"
So, I gave him one of mine. In some way, this represents growth on my part.

Based on that information, I'll be able to psychoanalyze you. Except, I already know the answer: you kept the Green Lantern cover, didn't you? I can read you like a book, man.
(Note: For my birthday, I bought myself all the Johns Green Lantern hardcovers. I like hardcovers.)
Actually, I kept the other one. That's because Jones (or designer Chip Kidd) said that there would be a progression or evolution on the covers. That interested me.

I got the non-Green Lantern cover as well. It was what they gave me and who am I to argue with those that put aside books for me?
(Although, the more I think about it, the more the Green Lantern cover works for me--mostly with Morrison's characterisation of the group here. Hal Jordan is showing us his "badge" like a traditional cop on the scene. Heh.)
